Here I am again! :)
Just ate ahma's yummy duck and mum's specialty bee hoon!
Feel very blessed right now, that i am able to enjoy both my grandma's and mum's good food. Yet it makes me think of sad things, and i think i'm going to cry now... As my ah ma gave me the duck, she told me in hokkien to be good to my mum in the future and that she may not be able to see me grow up. Why is she saying all this? Is she predicting her death? NO! I don't wan my ah ma to leave all of us. I want to continue to enjoy her company, her good food, her mei cai. It's only after living together with my grandparents, that i talk to them more often. I begin to appreciate living here in this small apartment. Having grandparents living with you is a blessed thing. Having grandparents doting on you is even more blessed. And i can tell you, even if i dont have a single ang pao this year, i will be happy, cause i have my precious family around me, and that is better than anything. I told my ah ma that she will get to see my children. I think the way i said in chinese make it sound like i want her to look after my children. I didnt' mean it this way! haha. My relatives were surprised i can speak a little hokkien. I'm determined to brush up on my hokkien listening and speaking skills, this way, i will be able to converse with my ah ma more. :)
I love my ah ma! my ah ma's ngoh hiong and mei cai rocks the world. i dont mind just having plain rice+mei cai+ngoh hiong for dinner every day. hahaha.

I thank God for giving my grandparents a long and blissed life; for giving my parents good health; for giving my brother such a wonderful girlfriend; and for giving me wonderful friends and for being my bestest friend.
